GW Prophecies 1 million edition upgrade??? - Guild Wars Forums

hey i just saw in the official GW in-game store an upgrade to your existing account that says it offers some unique weapons for your characters! I was wandering, by just enabling this upgrade you can get the weapons by typing in the chatbox /bonusitems or /special, or the weapons themselves become available drops for a boss that drop only if you have that upgrade?

Oh and something else, i am interested in adding a char slot in my account and i was wondering, is it worth to add one from the ingame store or to use the nightfall pre-release cd key, that also gives you 2 in-game weapons for your dervish and paragon?

1. Yes /preorder works, not sure about /bonusitems, but it is possible.

2. The nightfall pre-release is the way to go if you can find it cheap.

To get the bonus items that you purchased from the online store type /bonus. The /bonusitems command is apparently now just for special promotions such as the Grey Giant mini-pet from PCGamer. If you can find the Nightfall prerelease bonus pack get that. For the same amount that you would spend on a bonus slot from the online store you would instead get 2 extra slots.

Note that you can only add one to your account so one character slot is the limit via the preorder/bonus pack. Mine cost $5 so for a slot + scythe + spear it was definitely a good deal.

I added the GOTY weapons to my account and use them regularly for heroes. Between the GOTY, Factions preorder and NF preorder I get 10 items when I do /bonus. Note that you can use that any time while in town on any character any number of times. Drag the ones you don't use to your trash can.

Nevermore Flatbow - Ranger Bow

Piercing Dmg: 15-28 (req. 9 Marksmanship)
Lengthens Poison duration on foe by 33%
Damage +15% (while Health is above 50%)

Tiger's Roar - Elementalist Focus

Energy +12 (req. 9 Energy Storage)
Halves casting speed of Fire Magic spells (Chance 20%)
Halves casting speed of Air Magic spells (Chance 20%)

Rhino's Charge - Warrior Hammer

Blunt Dmg: 19-35 (req. 9 Hammer Mastery)
Damage +15% (While Health is above 50%)
Armor penetration +10% (Chance: 10%)

Wolf???s Favor - Monk Focus

Energy +12 (req. 9 Divine Favor)
Halves casting speed of Healing Prayers spells (Chance 20%)
Halves casting speed of Protection Prayers spells (Chance 20%)

Luminescent Scepter - Mesmer Wand

Chaos Dmg: 11-22 (req. 9 Domination Magic)
Halves casting speed of Illusion Magic spells (Chance: 20%)
Energy +3 (while Health is above 50%)

Soul Shrieker - Necromancer Staff

Dark Dmg: 11-22 (req. 9 Curses)
Energy +10
Halves casting speed of Death Magic spells (Chance: 20%)
Halves casting speed of Blood Magic spells (Chance: 20%)
Energy +5

Shield

* Armor 16 (requires 9 Tactics )
* Received damage -2 (while in a Stance)
* Health +30

I would Highly recommend getting this pack if you get chance, its a cheap special edition pack and the special edition weapons will also be usable by any hero hench you get in NightFall
